The bed and breakfast is located approximately twenty minutes away from a large group of Amish located in Smicksburg, PA. Smicksburg is home to over 250 Amish families. This Amish area has many shops for tourists to visit. Most of the small specialty shops are Amish owned. The Amish are very nice and extremely friendly. When traveling through the Amish area, show caution as you will probably come upon many horse-drawn buggies while you are driving.
